Scuderia Paarala Racing - briefly in English
The Historic Rally is the branch of motor sport dedicated to the types of classic cars that were rallied from the 1950's through to the 1980's. Although more than 20 years old, these cars are fun to drive and see, often quite fast. As a hobby, these oldies are cheap to run. There are classes for different power and aged cars. Historic Rallies are run on both gravel and bitumen roads.
Historic Rally Club Finland
is the motor sports organization for Historic Rally in Finland. It runs Historic Rally Trophy annually, which is open to foreign competitors as well.
Pekka Paarala drives Austin Healey Sprite (1960). He has participated 42 Finnish Historic Rallies, two Swedish and two Czech Historic Rallies. And would be interested to drive more foreign Historic Rallies in future. All enthusiastic sponsors are wellcome to help it happen.
